New Zealand (Aotearoa) edition 18

Lonely Planet keeps on spinning with this, the icy-cool 18th edition of the bestselling New Zealand guide. This is our fifth edition as co-authors, an honour we share with Brett Atkinson, Peter Dragicevich and Charles Rawlings-Way.

We love this gig. Not only do we get to explore plenty of nooks and crannies, we also get to meet heaps of great folks on the road –  in this case a three-month trip, in our little campervan, with bikes on the back, Macs on the lap, and a glass of local craft beer usually on hand. As we say in the land of LP authordom, ‘we know because we go’.
